Getting to Know: Alexis Kozak

As Account Executive I, Alexis Kozak is responsible for the serving the needs of existing customers and generating new customers.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.

I am a Eucharistic Minister & Chairperson of the Social Committee for Visitation BVM Roman Catholic Church. 

What are three career lessons you’ve learned thus far?

Three career lessons that I have learned thus far are: 

1.  Your integrity follows you wherever you go. People remember you for whom you are. It doesn’t matter if you’re selling large networks or cookies! 
2.  Treat internal & external customers with the utmost respect. These people are necessary to have a lifeline to sales.
3.  Always keep an open mind to new avenues presented to you. The only thing that is constant is change.

What are you most excited about accomplishing in your role?

I am most excited about bringing awareness and educating potential customers about DQE in the expansion areas.

What does true leadership mean to you?

A true leader is someone you won’t hesitate to ask for advice and guidance. Leaders should be as transparent as their position allows them to share their vision. A leader also should encourage others, assist in reaching their full potential, and, at times, even guide them out of their comfort zone to achieve their maximum ability.

What drew you to DQE originally?

The leadership and employees drew me to DQE! At the end of the day, customers buy from companies and, most importantly, from people!
